As soon as I got into my 30's I noticed that people kept telling me that I looked upset, tired, and angry all of the time. I wasn't, but it was coming across that way. I was sick of people asking me what was wrong, so I decided to go get some work done to get rid of the permanent scowl and frown lines that were developing. My dermatologist injected botox into my upper lip and in between my eyebrows to make me look happy again. It hurt just for a second, and it wasn't even that bad, just a little pinch. It has been 10 days and I notice a huge difference. Now my face actually reflects the way that I feel.

I wanted to get an eye lift without going through surgery. I discussed numerous options with my plastic surgeon before finally deciding on sculptra (I had read that it lasted quite a long time in comparison to any other injectables). I had a little bit of bruising and swelling, and it really hurt to massage the bruised areas, but I did it anyway, I didn't want to risk the chance of any lumpiness. Now my face looks amazing! Sculptra took off 10 years. I am so happy with the results, and as long as it lasts me for a while, I will go back in again for touch ups.

I was pretty swollen and bruised for the first couple of days, and I was a little scared that I was going to look like that until it wore off. A couple of days later though, the swelling and bruising went away and I was left looking about 7 years younger. If you are even thinking about it, go for it!

My lips looked as if they were thinning out within the last couple of years. I had always had thin lips, but they seemed to be even thinner lately. I had had enough of trying to make them look larger with lipliner (it never really works) so I consulted a board certified dermatologist to get injections done. He numbed my mouth completely so there was no pain during the procedure, and after the pain and swelling went down, I saw myself with the most amazing, full lips. I wish I would have done this sooner.

I have always had thin lips, but over the last couple of years I noticed that my lips were thinning out even more, and I was developing wrinkles around my mouth as well. I decided to go in for lip injections to try and remedy my appearance. Looking back, I wish that I would have done more research and asked more questions during the consultation, but the doctor was board certified so I didn't think that I would have a problem. Well, I ended up looking a bit lopsided, the left side of my mouth is more full than the right side, and my bottom lip looks too small for my face. I would definitely not do this again.
